For over 20 years, Jim has directed music and play programs for children with special needs in the Chicago area. An award-winning musician, he continues to give concerts to children and families at libraries, schools, and theaters across the country. Jim presents to early childhood educators on the many benefits of music and play in young children’s lives. Most recently, his CD Jim Gill Sings Moving Rhymes for Modern Times was named a 2007 Notable Children’s Recording by the American Library Association. Jim is also the author of the picture book May There Always Be Sunshine.
