State Continuing Education Credit

SDE provides state-approved continuing education credit in most states. In any state where educators seek graduate credit rather than CEU's see Chapman University and for graduate continuing education credit see Antioch University.  Please check with your district for advanced approval for graduate or state credit. Click on your home state for details about receiving continuing educational credit in your state. Unless otherwise noted you may use the Certificate of Teacher Training that you will receive at every SDE program for verification of contact hours. Contact hours are based on “seat time” where an educator is engaged in learning. Breaks and lunches do not count as contact hours.  If you have further questions please contact SDE at 1-800-462-1478 or e-mail credit@sde.com
